Actually Raymond Burr played many bad guys in films as well as Fred MacMurray which are too many to list here but ill name two notable films everyone should know, Raymond Burr co stared with James Stewart in "Rear Window" as the killer neighbor and Fred MacMurray stared with Barbara Stanwyck in "Double Indemnity".

Thanks for placing this old movie on RUclips. I was born in 1953 so part of my enjoyment is simply seeing actors I knew like Raymond Burr and Fred MacMurray when they were younger than I remember them. When Clair Trevor was part of the dancing girls and she was circling around Raymond Burr sitting I thought I was watching a skit by Lucille Ball.

But then Raymond Burr auditioned and and that was that...!! I still love to watch the original Perry Mason from the late 50's and even as old as the series is, it is still so very much better than anything today. Good movie…sound and picture of quality. The best line was at the end before the zoo. “She has excellent equipment, and knows how to use it.”🤓

This time I remembered to skip the part with Trevor dancing around Burr and that dreadful song lest it get stuck in my head again. :)

Claire, and her little fan dance number, were never gonna attract Raymond Burr...if you know what I mean 😆 😆 😆

🛑 Thank you so much for all the lovely movies on your site. In case you welcome suggestions, I would love to see, if possible, "The shop around corner" with James Stewart and Margaret Sullavan.
"You got mail" with Tom Hanks and Meg Ryan was based on a very similar story line, but had not created the same charm as the original. If you manage to get it, I am sure that your audience will enjoy it as well.

In the begging when trying to entice Burr, I (Burr) would be suspicious of Trevor as she’s trying too hard. Now, on with the movie! Lol

Although I am a big fan of Raymond Burr, the youtube tag for this movie should say Fred MacMurray first at least. Having missed the opening stars listed, I thought Raymond Burr was the biggest name in the picture until I saw Fred Macmurray.step into the picture and then I realized about half way thru that Fred M was the star listed at the beginning of the film.

I'm wearing a white Panama hat over here in Spain these days. Temperature has been up to 40 % C. Too hot to wear any kind of white cotton jacket though.

It's hard to believe that Claire Trevor (Haley) was at her age of 40 while shooting this film.

I think FRED McMURRAY also starred in another mid-sixties series called MY MOTHER THE CAR.
